How We Work

Computer Works will generally follow the steps below when assisting our clients:

  • Our first preference is to help you directly over the phone. If you are happy for us to do so, we may also connect remotely to your computer. Where this option allows the issue to be solved, this is the most cost effective and timely approach. For this we charge on an hourly rate.
  • Where we cannot help you over the phone, we will arrange to come to your home or office to discuss and investigate the issue. Our aim is to resolve the issue immediately whilst we are onsite. Our call out fee includes the first hour’s labour and where the issue cannot be resolved within the hour, we would discuss the options with you before going further.
  • Where the issue cannot be resolved on-site, we will discuss further options with you which generally involves taking the equipment back with us for further diagnostics and/or repair. Where this occurs, we will provide both a time and cost estimate, and keep you updated on progress.
